Can I bring my dog to meet you before (s)he comes to stay?
Yes. A meet & greet is essential before any booking is confirmed. This is to ensure that all the dogs get along and that you are happy with the service I provide.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes. All dogs must be fully vaccinated for the period of boarding. Your dog must also be up to date with their treatment for fleas, ticks and worms.
Does my dog need to be microchipped?
Yes. As of April 6th 2016 it became law to have your dog microchipped.
Will you administer my dogs medication?
Yes, most types of medicine can be administered. Please feel free to contact me to discuss.
What do I need to bring with me?
You need to bring food for the duration of your dog's stay and bedding (including a crate if this is what they are used to). If your dog requires regular grooming, please bring brushes etc. Also, feel free to bring anything you think will make your dog feel more comfortable during their stay.
Does my dog need to be neutered/spayed
No, but there may be some restrictions as to when we can take your dog for boarding if not.
Will my dog be supervised?
Yes. Dogs will never be left alone for more than 3 hours.
Where will my dog sleep during his/her stay?
Boarded dogs will sleep in the kitchen/utility room area downstairs. If you do not think your dogs would be happy with these arrangements, please feel free to get in touch to discuss other options.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes. A 20% non-refundable deposit is charged on all bookings. The balance is to be paid when you drop your dog(s) off.
Do you offer a trial night to make sure my dog settles?
Yes, I think trial nights are a great idea and can offer you peace of mind knowing that your dog will settle happily. Trial nights are charged at normal rates.
Are you insured and licensed?
Yes. I am fully insured by a specialist pet care insurance agency and licensed by Harborough District Council with a 5 star rating. All documents are available to view at the premises.
